Outlook Address Book View is a simple utility that displays the details of all recipients stored in the address books of Microsoft Outlook.

This feature requires you to use a Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, Exchange Server 2003, or Exchange Server 2007 account.

Most home and personal accounts do not use Microsoft Exchange. The Offline Address Book contains the properties of a user, such as e-mail addresses, that Microsoft Outlook requires in order to send an e-mail message and display information about the user.

An offline address book (OAB) is a copy of an address book that's been downloaded so that an Outlook user can access the information it contains while disconnected from the server.

By default, a new OAB is generated every 8 hours in Exchange Server 2016, but you can change the interval by using the Exchange Management Shell.
